Carla Marie Foster of Washington, D.C., daughter of the late Emma and Ernest Foster, and Gilbert Rhodes of DeWitt, Virginia, son of the late Leslie Collin and Annie Rhodes will be united in marriage on May 25, 2001 at a private ceremony in Arlington, Virginia. A reception will be held at a later date.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in paralegal studies. She is employed as an administrator at a health insurance company. The groom is a 20-year Navy veteran and is employed at SourceNet as a telecommunications technician.
After a honeymoon cruise, the couple will reside in Baltimore, Maryland.
